As a Swedish or Norwegian customer, why do I need to provide my social security number?

It is important that we are able to keep Transfer Galaxy's service safe and secure for all of our customers. As eID (BankID) is the simplest and most secure way of identifying oneself this is the preferred option where it is available. To use BankID one must enter their social security number.

Transfer Galaxy would never share any information with any authorities or other public entities unless legally required to do so in relation to e.g. a criminal investigation in relation to money laundering or terrorist financing.
