How long will my transfer take?

Transfer times to Somalia depend on the delivery method, the network, and when you start your transfer.

Cash pickup transfers are available to collect within minutes. Mobile money transfers usually take between a few minutes and 24 hours to arrive. This depends on when you start the transfer and whether you use EVC Plus, Sahal or SoPay.

With EVC Plus, most transfers arrive within 2 hours. If you send money after 18:00 local time in Somalia (GMT+3), your money will arrive on the next business day.

With Sahal, most transfers arrive within 24 hours. If you send money between Thursday 16:00 and Friday 20:00 local time in Somalia, your money will arrive on the next business day.

With SoPay, transfers arrive within a few minutes.

In rare cases, transfers are delayed for reasons outside our control. These can include breaks in electricity, internet, or phone services.
