How long will my transfer take?

Transfer times to Somaliland depend on the delivery method, the network, and when you start your transfer.

Cash pickup transfers are available to collect within minutes. Mobile money transfers usually take between a few minutes and 2 hours to arrive. This depends on when you start the transfer and whether you use SoPay or Telesom ZAAD.

With SoPay, transfers arrive within a few minutes.

With Telesom ZAAD, if you send money after 18:00 local time in Somaliland (GMT+3), your money will arrive on the next business day.

In rare cases, transfers are delayed for reasons outside our control. These can include breaks in electricity, internet, or phone services.
