What is an extra limit?

An extra limit is a temporary increased monthly limit. We offer an extra limit to customers who need to send large amounts of money for a specific purpose.

 

To apply for an extra limit:

  • You must have Swedish BankID
  • You send money using Transfer Galaxy at least 1 month or more before you apply for an extra limit.

When we approve your application, you get an extra limit period of one month to make your transfers. When the extra limit period is over, your account resets to its normal monthly limit.

How do I apply for an extra limit?

Application for an extra limit is currently open to customers who are Swedish residents.

 

To apply for an extra limit:

  • Go to transfergalaxy.com and log in to your account
  • Select "Extra limit" from the menu and apply

 

When you apply for an extra limit, we ask you for extra documents and information. We use this information to process your application and keep your account safe.

How long does it take to process an application for an extra limit?

It usually takes 48 hours to review your completed application from when you send it.

 

Make sure to send all the documents and information needed. The more detailed and precise you are, the faster we process your application.

If you are currently helping a family member to send money, we urge you to help them set up an account. Sending money on behalf of someone else could lead to your account becoming deactivated.
